This program, led by Club Oly members is a 16 week program designed for new runners and those who have NO running experience who want to make a positive change in their lives. (Before starting any training program, please consult your physician.)
Using the walk/run method with as little as 20 to 30 minutes of walking and jogging just 3 times a week, we can help just about anyone reach their goal of running a five mile race. The program is designed for new runners to run the Capital City 5 mile race on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
Introductory Meeting – January 28, 2017
Join us Saturday, January 28 at 8:00am at South Sound Running in Olympia for an introductory meeting to the program. Training will begin the following Monday.
During the program we will meet during the week on Monday and Wednesdays at 6 pm at Marathon Park and on Saturdays at South Sound Running at 8:00am.
